12 Ways to Keep Your Weight Under Control

Weight management doesn’t need to be complicated, difficult, or a constant battle. If you’ve done your research and are really determined to keep it under control, it shouldn’t be a problem at all. If you eat 12 chocolate bars a day, please don’t think that drinking green tea will counter balance that. Green tea will simply speed up your metabolism, which can compliment a good diet and exercise!

  1. Eat Smaller Portions

Instead of eating huge portions, really start to think about the amount you’re eating. Vegetables should take up most of your plate, while meat should be about a fist.

  1. Eat More Meals

Eat more smaller meals rather than less large meals to stop you from snacking during the day. Your metabolism will keep running at a fast pace and you won’t be tempted by an afternoon biscuit.

  1. Drink Plenty of Water

Water can help us to feel fuller for longer. Sometimes, our bodies actually confuse hunger and thirst. Keep topped up on your H2O!

  1. Cut Down on Certain Foods

The more rubbish food you eat, the more your body craves it. If you can cut down on them, then you’ll naturally begin to crave them less. Don’t eat foods that are too high in sugar or chemicals. Never cut out carbs, but limit them if you’re eating too many.

Your mindset plays a big part in how you keep the pounds off. You should think positively, and know that this is for life and not just for summer!

If you really must have a treat, then have it. Just don’t over indulge, or mess everything else up as a result. This lifestyle needs to be sustainable, so treats will come as a part of that.

Finally, be realistic. You won’t reach your goals in one week. Probably not even a month. It takes time. Be patient!
